The MESA Down Under school will take place in the Michael Spence Building at the University of Sydney.
We have made arrangements with Veriu Hotels in Sydney and participants of the MESA Down Under winter school can book their
accommodation at three of their hotels (listed below) at a 15% discount. Participants should email the MESA Down Under Program Director for instructions on
how to receive this discount.
Veriu Central
Offers regular one or twin-bed hotel rooms near the Central Station with easy access to public transport that stop right outside the
school venue. This is the cheapest option out of the three Veriue hotels.

Veriu Broadway
Offers bedroom suites from studio apartments with small kitchenettes to 1-2 bedroom apartments with full kitchen. There are busstops nearby
with busses that will stop right outside the school venue and the hotel is also an easy walk to the school venue.

Veriu Camperdown
Offers one to four bedroom apartments right next to the University of Sydney. While taking the bus to the school venue is possible,
it is much easier to just walk across the University campus to get there.

Should you wish to find a different place to stay than the three options listed above then you are welcome to do so.
Hotels near the University of Sydney typically cost between 150-300AUD per night, while the renting of rooms to full apartments on Airbnb
can be done for about half that price. Whatever you choose, we recommend that you book your accommodation as soon as possible as the cheaper
options will go away fast.
